Production Time

Production time on in-stock items is 5-7 business days, after applicable proof approval.

In any and all cases, an order completion date will be given to you when you place your order & upon receipt of all engraving information.  For orders that require proof approval, your order completion date is dependent on the timely approval of the proof.  Custom Items or orders requiring adjustments to artwork may require additional time.

Rush Orders

While we try to accommodate each customer’s due date, orders needed outside of standard production times may incur rush charges.  Please contact Customer Service for additional information.

Order Changes

Once production has begun or a proof has been approved, we are unable to make changes to your order.  Please double check spelling and quantities before placing your order and carefully review any and all proofs.  If you find that you need additional awards, please let us know and we will make every effort to accommodate you.  If you need fewer awards, we can adjust your order subject to a restocking fee.

Payment Methods

Credit Cards, Checks, Cash:
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express Credit, Money Orders, Checks, Cash as well as Debit Cards for In-Store Transactions.

Net 30 Terms:
Plaques Plus, Inc.  reserves the right to grant Net 30 payment terms. If granted payment terms, you agree that if you are late paying your invoice, a 1.5% per month (18% per annum) finance charge or the maximum charge permitted by law may be assessed against all accounts with past due balances. You agree to pay all the company's reasonable attorney's fees and all collection agency fees incurred in the collection of any amount owed hereunder and not paid when due.

Purchase Orders:
We accept purchase orders from accredited US companies and organizations. Plaques Plus, Inc. reserves the right to approve or deny purchase order terms. Please email to request purchase order terms approval.

Your purchase order form can only be accepted when accompanied by a unique PO number and the signature of the officer authorizing the purchase. We cannot ship products ordered from purchase orders until the purchase order documentation is on file and has been verified.

Purchase order terms must be pre-approved by our sales representatives. Plaques Plus, Inc. extends 15-Day or 30-Day Net payment terms on all faxed and electronic purchase orders. After 30 days, all outstanding balances are subjected to a 1.5% financing charge per month.

Sports/Activity Award Engraving Charges

Trophies, Sports Plaques & Photo Plaques
50 characters of FREE uniform text included on each award.
There is a charge of 10¢ per character, per award for each character over fifty (50).

Personalizations [i.e., Recipient’s name] are charged as follows:

    1-24, $1.00 each
    25-99, 50¢ each
    100-249, 25¢ each
    250+, FREE*

*Proper format required; we reserve the right to determine engraving method.

Please note that a setup fee may apply to non-standard or custom layouts.


Engraving Charges for Medals are as follows:

50¢ for 50 characters of uniform text (subject to available space).

Personalization Charges for Medals are:
    1-24, $1.00 each
    25-99, 75¢ each
    100-249, 50¢ each
    250+, 25¢ each

There is a charge of 10¢ per character, per medal for each character over fifty (50).

Please note that our minimum medal engraving charge is $25.

We reserve the right to determine engraving method.

Corporate Award Setup/Personalization Charges

We offer FREE engraving and one FREE personalization on the following award categories:

Setup Charges:

There is a $25.00 setup fee per layout per award size on the following award types:

  • Plaques (setup waived on 6+ identical pieces)
  • Acrylics (setup waived on 6+ identical pieces)
  • Full-Color Plaques (setup waived on 6+ identical pieces)
  • Glass/Crystal

There is no charge to engrave or setup a logo as long as your logo meets our artwork requirements. (see Artwork Section below for details)

Line Changes

Line Changes are $2.50 each on

  • Plaques
  • Full-Color Plaques
  • Acrylics
  • Clocks
  • Desk Accessories

Copy Changes on glass pieces are $8.00 per award.

We supply proofs on:

  • Plaques
  • Full-Color Plaques
  • Acrylics
  • Clocks
  • Crystal

Most proofs are sent within 3 Business days of receipt of all artwork, meeting artwork requirements, and text.

Proofs must be approved in writing before your order will enter production. Up to 2 proofs provided free of charge.
Additional proofs available for an additional charge.

Prompt proof approval is essential to maintain production timeline.  Proofs not approved/returned within a timely manner may result in delays to order completion.

Engraving Information

  • Please E-MAIL all engraving – please include your full name & phone number with all correspondence
  • We do NOT recommend faxing engraving.
  • If you must fax engraving, please use a typed list.
  • We kindly ask that you do not use handwritten lists as we will NOT be responsible for any engraving mistakes on handwritten orders.
  • A .csv file with full names listed individually is required in order to receive free personalization on trophy orders with 250 or more personalizations.  Please contact customer service with questions.

Artwork Requirements

For Engraving:

  • Logos or Graphics must be provided in the appropriate format [Monochromatic (1-bit) vector] or Art Charges will apply.
  • All artwork is subject to approval.
  • We accept .eps, .ai (Version 10.0 or below) or .cdr (Version X5 or below) files.  Fonts must be converted to curves and all paths must be closed.  Objects may NOT overlap.
  • We prefer that you email any artwork, though we can also accept CD, DVD or USB Flash Drives. 
  • Artwork that does not meet the above requirements may delay completion of your order and may require art charges, which begin at $25, to convert your artwork to a usable format.
For Full-Color Process:
  • We can accept artwork in either a vector or bitmap version. 
  • All artwork is subject to approval.
  • For Vector File Formats, fonts must be converted to curves.
  • We can use .eps, .ai (Version 10.0 or below) or .cdr (Version X3 or below) .tif, .jpg, .png.
  • We prefer that you do not use .gif as our experience has shown inferior results with this format.
  • For Bitmaps (.tif, .jpg, .png) please send the highest resolution image that you have (150+ dpi usually provides good results).
  • Please note that web graphics are generally very small in size, have very low (72 dpi) resolution, and frequently will not provide acceptable results.
  • All files must be supplied in a PC-Compatible format. 
  • We prefer that you email any artwork, though we can also accept CD, DVD or USB Flash Drives.
  • Artwork that does not meet the above requirements may delay completion of your order and may require art charges, which begin at $25, to convert your artwork to a usable format.

Art Charges

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes acceptable artwork. In general, we can convert your artwork to a useable format if necessary.  Art charges for this service begin at $25.00 and will be quoted before any work begins.

Minimum Order

The minimum charge for engraving services is $25.00.

Order Accuracy

Though we strive to have 100% accuracy on all orders, sometimes errors occur.  Any mistakes that are our fault will be corrected promptly at no charge.  Mistakes due to errors on our customer’s part will also be promptly corrected using the most cost-effective methods, though additional charges may be assessed.


All orders are inspected prior to shipping or delivery.  If you have received damaged merchandise in an order that was shipped to you, please report it to us within 48 hours of receipt of the merchandise so that we may begin the claims process.  Please save the original shipping carton in case our shipper needs to inspect it. Please let us know of any shortages on your orders within 48 hours of receipt of the merchandise. We do not accept returns on any engraved merchandise.  We will accept returns on unengraved merchandise in good condition.  All returns must be made within two weeks.  Please call us at 630-983-0523 prior to returning any merchandise.  You must call us for a return authorization number before shipping merchandise back to us. Returns may be subject to a restocking fee.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is collected on all orders picked up in our showroom or shipped within the State of Illinois. We are happy to process your tax exempt sale, but we must have a current copy of your exemption letter from the Illinois Dept. of Revenue on file before your order ships or is picked up. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy.

Responsibility for Errors on Site and Other Information

As much as we try to ensure 100% accuracy on this site, we realize that rarely mistakes may occur. Therefore, please note that we are not responsible for any typographical errors on this website.  All prices are subject to change without notice.  We will confirm pricing with you at the time your order is placed.

Copyright & Trademarks

All liability for the proper use of logos or trademarks rest with the customer. We assume no liability for trademark or copyright disputes.

We reserve the right to photograph or show as samples, any item produced by us, without any liability as to trademark or artwork rights. Please contact us if you do not want your layout used for sample purposes.

Additionally, please note all products and photos with trademarks or logos used in this website are to show art and imprint reproduction capability only. They do not imply an endorsement by holders of such trademarks or designs, nor are these items for sale to anyone other than parties expressly authorized by the owner of such trademarks and logo designs.
